Munmun De Choudhury is J. Z. Liang Professor at the School of Interactive Computing and Co-Lead of Patient-Centered Care Delivery at the Pediatric Technology Center in Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. De Choudhury is known for her contributions to the fields of computational social science, human-computer interaction, and digital mental health. Through fostering interdisciplinary collaborations across academia, industry, and public health sectors, Dr. De Choudhury and her collaborators have contributed significantly to advancing the development of computational techniques for early detection and intervention in mental health, as well as in unpacking how social media use benefits or harms mental well-being. Beyond her academic contributions, Dr. De Choudhury is a persistent contributor to policy-framing and advocacy initiatives, and is frequently sought for expert advice to governments, and national and international media.

Pinxian Lu is a first-year PhD student in the HCC program. He is conducting research primarily to help people deal with online harassment. 
Rijul Magu is a 3rd year CS PhD student. His work focuses on the application of computational methods to study online interactions. Specifically, he investigates the underlying factors that contribute to harmful experiences on social media and explores mechanisms that can foster prosocial outcomes.
Chinar Dankhara is a thesis track master's student at Georgia Tech Computing. His research leverages AI—employing multimodal, explainable techniques—for cross-platform analysis of social media data to capture a holistic view of behavior and assess mental health outcomes in young adults.
Andrew Zhao is currently serving in a Research Engineer role in the SocWeB Lab and in a Research Scientist I role with the Institute for People and Technology (IPaT). Andrew graduated with a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, and brings years of experience in full-stack development, social computing, and machine learning.
Zoya is currently pursuing their Masters in Computer Science at Georgia Tech. They are currently working on building a classifier to identify loneliness in Instagram conversations.
